Wine development version 4.20 is now published

The Wine project is keeping up with its release schedule of about every two weeks. The latest, version 4.20, is now available and touts the following improvements.
  • New version of the Mono engine with an FNA update.
  • Code persistence in VBScript and JScript.
  • Vulkan spec updates.
  • Improved support for LLVM MinGW.
FNA is Linux porter Ethan Lee's re-implementation of Microsoft's XNA library. Updating FNA is great so we can continue to enjoy XNA-based games on Linux, and more Vulkan support is always welcome.

Also in this update, a total of 37 outstanding bugs were fixed and closed. Several fixes were targeting specific issues in titles like: LEGO Island, SimGolf, and Heroes of the Storm. Others were more general, like possible memory leaks, and even some fixes for office applications. With all the focus on gaming, it's easy to forget that Wine is also used for general application compatibility.

Check out the release notes for a full list of changes.
