It's time to roleplay your Hogwarts fantasy in the open-world Minecraft map, Witchcraft and Wizardy. It's an absolutely huge custom adventure map created by a group of Minecrafters that goes by the moniker The Floo Network. After several years in the making, they've finally made it to the all-important 1.0 release.
The story starts with an acceptance letter from Hogwarts and events progress from there. You'll, of course, need to make a quick trip to Diagon Alley to gather school supplies before boarding the Hogwarts express. Not everything is 1-to-1 with the books however, as some creative choices were made for a more interesting world.
For those already familiar with the books or movies, you should feel quite at home in the environments they've created. Locations are surprisingly detailed and expansive. Clearly a huge amount of time and care has been spent recreating the world of Harry Potter.
On top of all that, the entire map can also be played with up to 4 people, although 2 recommended for the best experience.
